Judiciary Invetigation Police intevened two ilegal piers in Limon

Two small non permit illegal piers in bays at Port Limon were intervened by the Judiciary Investigation Police as both are believed to have links with the drug trade. Taxman fines state owned banks

State owned Banks are fined USD213 million by the Taxman as they find discrepancies on their returns from the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Of this fine, 52% is accredited to The Popular Bank, being this the bank for the working class. The Banks have rejected this fine and will take these charges to court. Local Goberment´s investigations have not proceed

Seven Mayors and nine Council Members that are under investigation still have not been sanctioned. A dispute between The Comptroller General’s Office and The Supreme Electoral Court both allege the other have the exclusive authority.
